Each week when we attempt to speak, we don't know exactly how it's going to work. We're not precisely certain how we're going to pull it off. We're not totally confident that we can make the play. But we're so gratefull and so stunned that God has simply put us in the game. And we want to give it all we have.

This is to let you know what is going on inside the youth ministry and also events coming up that are already on the calendar. We have changed up an added some new faces to Wednesday night small group. Along with Beth and myself, Lisa Logan and Amy Williams have jumped in as we start a new small group study on Revelations. We are still averaging about 18 to 20 every Wednesday and we keep growing. Anyone interested in providing snack one Wednesday, please let me know. Mission Trip- Nicaragua Passport. http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html Immunization Shots http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/nicaragua.aspx God has been doing some awesome things in the past few weeks with our Nicaragua Mission trip. First, the plane tickets drop back down to $450 this past Monday which was a major blessing. Secondly, we have 12 members of our church going on this mission trip. Lastly, Jerry and Conny Nolan. They have been a huge blessing in helping with the planning of this trip. Here is your list on our members that are going: Nick Barrett Wanda Harris Varen Thacker Tim Holt Tina Holt Trey Holt Dennis Mullens Macey Mullens Morgan Mullens Michael Smith Bill Jackson Jo Jackson Please add all of us to your daily prayer as we prepare on for this mission we have been called to do. God has been awesome and involved in all the planning that has been going on with this trip. We are a few months away from our departure and are eager to see what God has in store for us in Nicaragua. We couldn’t be attempting this trip if it was for the support and prayers of everyone in the church. The Golf Tournament coming up in May will help raise money for the projects we have planned to do in Nicaragua. The Golf Tournament is May 7^th at Battlefield Golf Course. Cost is $100 per player, $400 per team. All money that this tournament raises goes for local mission projects along with the Nicaragua mission projects. If you know anyone that golf's please tell them about this. Attached are the team form's and also a sponsor form if you know anyone that would like to sponsor this tournament. You might be wondering how you can help out with this mission trip. We need volunteers for the golf tournament. We are hoping to have around 100 golfers. We need help with stuffing goodie bags, putting up signs, decorating, and feeding all the golfers two meals. This is a big undertaking and we can use all the help we can get. If you cant donate your time that day, a dessert that we can serve to the golfers will be great. If you can help, please see Nick Barrett or Jerry & Connie Nolan.
